In case you do not want to risk missing an authentic email that may be blocked as spam because of its content, you can also create custom spam filters based on the sender, the body or the subject of the email message and re-send the emails to a different mailbox where you can check them later.

If you decide to use the mail service that comes with our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you can keep all unwanted messages away from your mailbox by enabling the 5-level spam protection that we offer with every semi-dedicated server package. This can be accomplished via the fully featured Email Manager section of the Control Panel and we use the advanced SpamAssassin spam filter to make sure that we provide the very best possible security for our clients. You can have a different protection level for each email account and you can select if the filtered email messages should be deleted or forwarded to some other mailbox where you can read them later so as to make sure that you will not lose authentic email messages. Changing the level of protection or disabling the anti-spam protection is also easy and requires several clicks.
